Decide what members get
- Write 3 to 5 benefits in plain words, such as "A new meal plan every Monday" or "Ask me anything, answered within a day".
- Pick a rhythm you can keep for a year. Weekly is enough.
- Set the rules for the group before anyone joins: what can be posted, and what gets someone removed.
Price it
Groups are usually priced per month, with a cheaper yearly option. As a rough guide, a monthly fee between ₹199 and ₹999 works for most groups; a yearly price of ten months gives members a reason to stay. Start lower while the group is small and say so.
Set it up on Tapyoka
Memberships are part of Pro.
- Open Members and choose Add a plan.
- Fill in Plan name, Monthly price (₹) and, if you want, Yearly price (₹). Leave the yearly price empty for monthly only.
- Add up to 8 lines under Benefits, one per line.
- Paste your Private group invite link from WhatsApp, Telegram or Discord. Only active members see it.
- Choose Add plan. You can have up to 5 plans.
People join at the join page linked from your page. To put it on your page, add a link block and choose the Members only lock, or share the join link in your posts. A locked block shows "For members" and a Become a member button.
What happens when someone joins
- The buyer picks a plan, enters their name and email, ticks the consent box and chooses Join.
- They pay your UPI ID directly and tell you the UTR with I have paid.
- You check the payment and choose Mark as paid in Members. The membership starts.
- They get a welcome email with the group invite link, and can find it any time at staging.tapyoka.com/me.
3 days before a membership ends, the member gets a reminder with Pay to renew. When they pay, you mark it paid again and the end date moves forward. Join requests that are not paid within 7 days are closed.
Removing people who did not renew
When a membership ends, you get an email asking you to remove that person from the group. Tapyoka cannot remove anyone from WhatsApp or Telegram for you. Remove them in the group app, then press Done next to their name under Remove from group in Members.
Reset the invite link in your group app from time to time and paste the new one with New invite link, so old links stop working.
