Seller terms
These terms apply when you sell on Tapyoka. They add to the terms of use.
Last updated 19 October 2026
You are the seller
You are the supplier of everything you sell. You are responsible for the product, its content, delivering it, keeping any access link working and any access rules on your own storage or platform.
You are responsible for the tax on your sales. We collect and report the taxes the law asks a platform to collect, such as GST TCS and income tax TDS, and show them in your statements.
What you can sell
Digital products, services, bookings and goods that are legal in India and that you have the right to sell.
You cannot sell: anything illegal, adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs, alcohol or tobacco, copied or pirated work, fake documents, get rich quick schemes, or anything that misleads buyers.
Licences and registrations
You must hold every licence or registration that your products and services need, for example FSSAI registration for food or SEBI registration for investment advice, and keep them valid. This is your responsibility, not ours. We do not check or collect them.
Before your first paid listing you confirm this in your dashboard. We record the time and the wording you confirmed.
Tapyoka may remove a listing, or pause a shop, that is reported to us as unlicensed.
What you must show buyers
Your name, a way to contact you, your city and your refund policy. We show these on each product page.
Fees
Free plan: 8% plus GST of each sale. Pro plan: 2% plus GST of each sale and ₹249 a month plus GST.
The payment fee is passed on at cost and shown on every sale.
Payouts
We pay your earnings to your bank account after each sale clears. New sellers have a hold during their first month.
You must finish KYC and give a PAN before we can pay you. Until then, money waits for up to 30 days.
If refunds or complaints go above 3% of your orders in 30 days, we may pause payouts while we review.
Refunds and complaints
Set a fair refund policy and follow it. Answer buyer complaints within 48 hours.
If a buyer reports that a product did not arrive and you do not fix it in 48 hours, we refund the buyer from your next payout.
Buyer data
Use buyer details only to deliver what they bought and to answer them. Do not add them to marketing lists without their consent.
Ending
You can stop selling at any time. We may pause or close a shop that breaks these terms. Money owed to you is paid after any refunds and chargebacks are settled.
