Why sellers in India move
Linktree lets sellers take payment for files, courses and bookings only in a list of supported countries, and India is not on that list today. Sellers in India who want buyers to pay by UPI on the same page usually move their links to a page that supports it.
Bring your Linktree over
You can do this while you pick your name: paste your address in Coming from Linktree? (optional) on the claim page. Or do it later from your page:
- Open Page and choose Bring your Linktree over.
- Paste your address under Linktree address, for example linktr.ee/yourname, and choose Show what we found.
- Tick what to bring: your name, bio, profile photo, the closest look to your Linktree colours, and each link. Links already on your page are marked "Already on your page."
- Choose Import. Links and headers are added at the end of your blocks in the same order. Social links go into the icons under your name.
- Check the Live preview and press Publish.
Nothing changes on your Linktree page. If you change your mind, History has a checkpoint called "Before Linktree import". A private or locked Linktree page cannot be read.
Add what you could not do before
- Add your UPI ID in Getting paid, so buyers can pay you.
- Turn your best link into something people can buy: a PDF with Add product, a call with Booking, or a tip with Pay or tip.

Switch the link without a gap
- Open your new page on your phone and tap every button once.
- In Instagram, tap Edit profile, then Links, and replace the Linktree address with your new link.
- Do the same on YouTube, WhatsApp Business and anywhere else your old link appears.
- Keep your Linktree page up for a few weeks, with one link at the top that points to your new page, so old posts and saved links still reach you.
